Privacy policy

This page explains what information Psykedelisk Portal processes about you, why, and what rights you have. We collect as little as possible.

Who is responsible for your information?

Psykedelisk Portal is run by Natalie Juul and Tobias Dinesen. Each of us is the data controller for our own sessions with the people who contact us. Tobias Dinesen is the data controller for the portal itself and the newsletter.

Write to either of us if you have questions about your information.

When you read the portal

You can read every article without telling us anything about yourself. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.

Like every website, our server technically receives your IP address when you visit. The site also loads its search and sign-up features from a public network of servers (jsDelivr), which therefore also receives your IP address. We do not use this information to find out who you are.

When you sign up for the newsletter

If you sign up for the newsletter, we store your email address and your name, if you give it. We use them only to send you the newsletter and an email in which you confirm your sign-up. The basis is your consent, and you can unsubscribe at any time via the link at the bottom of every email or by writing to us.

When you are signed up and logged in, the site stores one necessary cookie so it can remember you. It is not used for anything else.

When you write to us

If you write to us to book a session, we use your information to reply and arrange a time. Please do not put more health information in the email than necessary. We would rather talk about that in the session.

If you book a session in our calendar, we store your name, your email, your phone number and whatever you write in the booking yourself. We use it only to hold the session and send you a confirmation. The calendar runs on our own server at Hetzner, and confirmations are sent through Brevo.

Emails in which you contact us are deleted no later than one year after our last contact, unless you become a client. Notes from sessions are stored securely for 5 years after the last session, so we can pick up the thread if you come back. After that we delete them. Invoices are kept for 5 years, as the Danish Bookkeeping Act requires.

Who helps us process the information?

  • Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany): the server and database where the portal and the list of subscribers are stored.
  • Brevo (France): sends emails when you sign up.
  • Mailgun (EU region): sends out the newsletter and forwards emails to kontakt@, natalie@ and tobias@psykedeliskportal.dk to our own inboxes.
  • jsDelivr: delivers the search and sign-up features to the site.
  • Google (Gmail and Google Workspace, Tobias' through Wix): when you email us.

We never sell your information and do not pass it on to anyone else.

How long do we keep your information?

Your email stays on the list of subscribers until you unsubscribe. After that we delete it.

Your rights

You have the right to know what information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to withdraw your consent and to receive a copy of your information. Write to us and we will help you.

If you are unhappy with how we process your information, you can complain to Datatilsynet, the Danish Data Protection Agency.

The Danish version of this page is Privatlivspolitik.

The newsletter

New research, new articles and Danish news about psychedelics, about once a month. The newsletter is in Danish, but when you sign up you get our free guide to integration after a psychedelic experience, in English or Danish.
